Blast off to a brand new year of reading. New books, new adventures, new ideas. Exciting adventures without leaving your chair can be found in a book.
Selmer Elementary students come to the library once each week for a thirty minute class. Class content varies according to grade level.
Kindergarten, first and second grades hear lots of stories to develop an appreciation for literature,authors and illustrators.
Third and fourth grades concentrate on research skills, but we still make time for literature appreciation.
Students may come to the library during one of our three check-out times to choose new books. Our check-out times are scheduled for morning and afternoon so that everyone has an opportunity to visit us.
We always welcome visits from parents, so drop in and see us and let us show you around. We are very proud of our book collection and our library.
