WELCOME TO AES LIBRARY!!

The library at AES offers students and faculty a wide range of services.  Every class comes to the library for library for library skills instructions every week.  Students may also come to the library during open library times. Each classroom has a list of these times.
We often study about authors and illustrators.  Each year we try to schedule author visits.  In recent years we have met author Dave and Pat Sargent, David M. Sargent, Jr., and Pat Winston.  Our students look forward to these visits.
We have book fairs to provide students, faculty, and the community with the opportunity to see the latest books on the market.  This also gives us the opportunity to meet parents and help them choose books their child would enjoy reading.
Favorites among our youngest students are Clifford, Franklin, and Syd Hoff books like Danny and the Dinosaur, Magic Tree House books are favorites among the 2nd and 3rd graders.  The Three Cousins Detective Club series is popular with that age group as well.  Our older students like a wide variety of books including Hank the Cowdog, Mary Kate and Ashley, and Beverly Cleary books. Recently Dan Gutman's series "My Weird School" has become our most popular series.
