Ramer School's Mission Statement
Ramer School's mission is to develop life-long learners and responsible, productive citizens through a quality education.
Endeavoring to make this happen, we, the administration, faculty, and support staff pledge ourselves to helping all students learn, achieve, and succeed in a safe and physically comfortable learning environment. We believe that our school is the ABSOLUTE BEST and will strive to maintain this standard. Ramer School is located in Ramer, Tennessee. Our town is 90 miles east of Memphis and about ten miles from Corinth, Mississippi. The Civil War site for the Battle of Shiloh is approximately 20 miles from our campus. Ramer School is in the McNairy County School District and serves grades PK4-8. We are the smallest school in our county with a school population of approximately 400 students. Most of our eighth graders enroll in McNairy Central High School in Selmer, Tennessee, when they leave our school. Ramer School 's colors are purple and gold, and our mascot is the mighty eagle. We have a junior high football team, girls' and boys' basketball teams, girls' softball and cheerleading. We also have a band program for students in grades 6-8.
