![]() 2011...A New Year & A New Start. It always seems that at the start of a new year we have a tendency to make resolutions. They may be to read more, study more, watch less television, eat healthier, exercise more, etc. However, these resolutions seldom last. I read once that "a winner makes commitments; a loser makes promises." May we be winners in this coming year by striving to simply be better in whatever we attempt. I know that our faculty and students will be committed to working hard to master all the challenging new standards. As always feel free to contact me. |
Yoko Ono, widow of the Beatle John Lennon, was asked if, in retrospect, she could account the incredible phenomenon the Beatles were in their day. She gazed out over Strawberry Fields in Central Park, a memorial to their music. "I think they had so much hope," she said. "We all had such hope then. And when you have that kind of hope, you can accomplish anything." The 2011 - 2012 school year is going to be filled with challenges and obstacles but if we all stay focused with hope we will successfully meet and exceed all expectations! |
