  The Adult Education program staff pledges to provide a superior program of services that will assist students in achieving success as they improve their quality of life.  

  • FREE GED Classes - To prepare the student for the GED exam.
  • Basic Skills Instruction - Including Reading, Writing, and Math.
  • Dislocated Worker Retraining - For students who already have a high school diploma who want to improve their current skills or prepare themselves for college.

FREE Instruction Available

Days:  Monday - Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Nights: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.

FREE Entrance Assessment

Thursdays - 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

McNairy County Adult Education strives to improve the quality of life for the citizens of McNairy County by offering individualized programs that promote education, enhance job skills, improve work ethics, and foster lifelong learning for adults.

Accomplishments achieved requires both staff dedication and student perseverance.  A former student has stated, "Adult Education is the place to begin to fulfill your dreams."  Donations received from both individuals and businesses alike assist with needed items for program operation.
