SPRING BREAK 2010 HAS BEEN CHANGED Spring Break 2010 has been changed to March 22-26. A change in the dates for state testing prompted the decision. "The number one reason for this move is to allow a later testing window for our students. This is in the best interest of our students, and that's why we are here," explained Charlie Miskelly, Director of Schools. |
IMPORTANT NOTICE!!!! CHANGES COMING IN AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM The McNairy County School System has again been awarded a 21st Century Community Learning Center grant to fund the successful after-school Project ENRICH Program that has been in existence for eight years. However there are major changes in the program which all parents must note. Free services are available only Monday through Thursday with ending time at 5:00 p.m. Final pick-up time is 5:15 p.m. Parents may make special arrangements for their children to stay on Fridays by enrolling their children and by paying $5.00 per child per Friday with the same hours of dismissal and final pick-up. Friday activities will be more day camp type activities which change each Friday instead of the usual homework, tutoring, and enrichment activities. Parents may pay the $5.00 each week, bi-weekly, or monthly, but must pre-pay for the services. Project ENRICH will begin the first day of school and will continue throughout the year with the exception of partial days and Fridays. Parents may pick up enrollment forms at each of the participating schools during open house or at the school office during regular school hours. For more information contact the school site directors or Liz Redmon Project ENRICH Director at 731-646-2577. Adamsville Jr/Sr High School will continue to serve students in Project ENRICH under a continuing LEAP Grant.
